Doc's Challenge is Complete!!! I really like the film that we put together, the team that I was on was TUJ1,and our documentary was about a homeless man, Jinno-san. Unfortunately I cannot post the film here, or anywhere online for a year do to the contest's restrictions; however my team and I will be able to fix parts of it that do not work to the film's full potential, and send it to other competition's and film festivals.
The profile that is due soon is nearly completed, although, yesterday as I was editing I found out that some of my sound files are corrupted. So I am not sure about how I am going to fix it in such a short time.
and then there is the Final...
I am going to being shooting the final this weekend and I hope to be finished with the preliminary filming by next Tuesday as there is a holiday on that Monday and my partner Kenta and I should be able to get the bulk of our materials then and start editing on Wednesday. I am going today to Bakpak Tokyo Hostel to do some staff interviews as well as to find out about when any long term guests are coming so that we can perhaps get some interviews and footage with them. I also think this would be beneficial if there is any need for B-roll after we finish the bulk of our filming.
